Lia Y. Tricomo (Olympia, Washington 2014) – strangled and slit the throat of her former male counselor (John Alkins) after the two had sex at his home April 30, 2014. Tricomo became depressed and suicidal after her and her little sister were gang raped following an invitation to serve as violin entertainment at an Iraqi wedding. Tricomo went in and out of mental facilities following her rape and complained of feeling worse after being medicated. Alkins had been fired from his job as a counselor four months before his death for victimizing other vulnerable female patients. He had been training Tricomo to be a dominatrix and invited her to move in with him the night of his murder. Tricomo was taking the antidepressant Paxil when she killed her former counselor.
