Alan Oliver Frazier (Reno Hospital shooting, 2013) – opened fire in an examination room at a urology clinic in Reno, Nevada, killing one physician and wounding two others before taking his own life on December 17, 2013. Frazier, 51, said doctors at the clinic performed a vasectomy that ruined his life to due never ending pain. The shooter’s former fiance said he took medication for depression when they were together in the mid-1990s, and was talked out of committing suicide by friends years before. While it’s unclear what medication Frazier was on at the time of the shooting, his ex-fiance said that he took Prozac when they were together, but would quit the drug periodically because he didn’t like being dependent on medication.
