Adam Lanza (Sandy Hook Elementary School shooting, 2012) – shot and killed his mother before traveling to Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newton, Connecticut where he murdered 20 children and six teachers before killing himself on December 14, 2012. Diagnosed with Asperger’s syndrome at the age of 13, Lanza suffered from developmental and anti-social issues most of his life. Lanza, age 20 at the time of the shooting, never exhibited violent tendencies except in his late teens through internet searches related to mass murder, which were discovered after the massacre through forensic files.

While Lanza’s toxicology report showed no traces of anti-psychotic medications, sources say he was prescribed the antidepressant Celexa by the Yale Child Study Center in his early teens. Lanza also took Lexapro for a short time as a teen, but stopped after his mother reported symptoms such as dizziness, sweating, slurred speech and the inability to open his cereal box.

Strangely, both James Holmes’ father, Robert Holmes, and Lanza’s father, Peter Lanza, were reportedly expected to testify before the US Senate in the LIBOR scandal – a major financial scandal in which 16 banks were caught falsely inflating or deflating interest rates used for mortgages, student loans, credit cards and nearly every interest loan in the world. Robert Holmes, the lead scientist for the credit score company FICO wrote the algorithm to detect fraud such as in the LIBOR scandal, while Peter Lanza, VP and Tax Director at GE Financial had access to revenue records that indicate how much was gained through manipulating credit rates.
