Aaron Ray Ybarra (Seattle Pacific University shooting, 2014) – stormed into a science and engineering building at Seattle Pacific University killing one student and injuring two others on June 5, 2014. Ybarra’s plan to kill as many people as possible including himself was thwarted by a student building monitor who pepper sprayed and tackled him as he reloaded. The 26-year-old had been treated and medicated for mental illness in the past, but quit the psychotropic drugs he was prescribed after losing his health insurance and being unable to afford them. Ybarra was diagnosed as having psychosis and obsessive-compulsive disorder and was withdrawing from Prozac and Risperdal at the time of his rampage. http://www.seattletimes.com/seattle-news/ybarra-chose-spu-for-shootings-because-he-was-unfamiliar-with-it-journal-says/
